Kanika Singal led the Sales, Marketing and Communications practice at CEB, India. Both as a strategic thinker and practitioner, Ms. Singal has expertise in areas of consumer experience and digital marketing, new product development and brand launches and marketing talent development. At CEB, she played the role of a research lead, a senior CXO level executive advisor and a workshop facilitator for sales, marketing, market research and communications executives.

Prior to joining CEB, Ms. Singal was a part of the strategy worldwide and marketing team at Levi’s Strauss & Co. in San Francisco where she worked on the launch of Denizen and global repositioning of Dockers and Levi’s brand. Ms. Singal is a McKinsey & Co alum. Her work at McKinsey was focused on strategy development for Luxury retail, CPG and Pharma sectors, across Asia, LatinAm, Western Europe and US. She has also worked with some leading food services players supporting them in market entry and customizing in-store experience for emerging markets.

Kanika can often be seen in the start-up circuits in India and Bay area. She is an advisor to a valley based greentech ecommerce start-up and advises an education start-up in India. She has been a guest columnist with Hindustan Times, a leading daily in India and an illustrator with a leading travel book publisher.

Last but not the least, Kanika is an architect from the School of Planning and Architecture, and used to design food-services restaurants and homes for some of the biggest brands in India and globally – like McDonalds and Nirula’s. She holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
