Nishith has more than 30+ years of experience in technology, helping organisations leverage technology to create business value and driving strategic enterprise-wide initiatives using state-of-the-art cutting-edge technologies including enterprise-level and bespoke solutions. For the past 15 years, he has been working in a Group CIO/ CIO positions for large multinational groups involving close interaction with CxO’s and actively driven multi-million dollar Greenfield strategic technology-led business transformation projects. He has worked in consulting, captive, and in-house environments across geographies having provided inspiring leadership & lead multi-cultural teams to deliver change in diverse environments.
His last three assignments were as Group CIO for RPG Group, Jt. President & Group CIO for Adani Group, and Vice President & CIO for South Asia for Siemens Ltd. At Adani, he was directly responsible for driving the IT enablement of the group’s ambitious and country’s most complex Business Transformation Program (BPT) using state-of-the art technology. He has also worked for PeopleSoft in the US.
Nishith has a demonstrated track record in the areas of Technology led business strategy, Business transformation, Engagement management, Global delivery, IT product Management, Large program management, Captive shared service setup, and Pre-sales. He has also been instrumental in driving Outsourcing, In-house IT strategy, Cost & budget management, and deployment of robust IT landscape in the area of captive operations.
Academically, Nishith has a post-graduate degree in ‘International Business’ from Kellstadt Graduate School, Chicago and a graduate degree in “Computer Technology’ from Bombay University. He has attended advanced management programs at IMD Lausanne, ISB Hyderabad, & Siemens International Development Center. In 2015, he was recognized by the industry as one of the most influential ICT Leaders by CORE-Media Group in ‘The CIO Power List 2015.
Nishith is married and his 19 year old daughter is currently pursuing undergraduate studies in Psychology. He is interested in mythology, reading, photography, music, and is an avid traveler.
